Since its initial rollout in 2017, Callaway’s Epic line has set new standards for distance and forgiveness, especially in the metal wood department. Over the past several years, the company has refused to rest on its laurels and has continued to invest in A.I. technology to further increase the Epic’s performance. The Tech Story
Callaway’s Jailbreak technology was one of the industry’s most innovative features in recent years, but this year, Jailbreak has been reimagined to help golfers play even better. Using artificial intelligence, Callaway’s engineers equipped the Epic Speed with brand new Jailbreak A.I. Velocity Blades. The blades stiffen the club’s body, improving stability in both horizontal and torsional directions. This allows the clubface to “twist” at impact to increase the performance of off-center strikes. The fairway woods also feature a new A.I. Designed Flash Face SS21 clubface, which is uniquely designed to generate high ball speeds all across the face.
