Forged from lightweight, high-strength aluminum and milled to an exacting shape, this material provides more stability than ever found before in a TaylorMade driver, resulting in better overall performance. Additionally, the SIM2 drivers feature a handful of innovations that have keyed success in recent years for TaylorMade. The Inertia Generator, originally introduced in the M6 driver and refined since, adds clubhead speed on the downswing through geometry and aerodynamic analytics. Meanwhile, Speed Inject Twist Face maximizes ball speed by ensuring each clubhead is calibrated to the legal speed limit with a unique face curvature that improves performance on toe and heel mis-hits. The Thru-Slot Speed Pocket is designed to improve performance on low-face strikes and resist the increase in spin on those hits.
