The Titleist AP1 irons combine game improvement technology with high performance for mid- to high handicap players. The 431 stainless steel body is cast and combined with a tungsten nickel box to place the Center of Gravity lower and away from the face to improve launch conditions. A dual cavity design allows weight to be moved to the perimeter to increase Moment of Inertia, making the irons more forgiving. Aluminum and elastomer cavity inserts stabilize the face for more stability at impact, improving sound and feel. The set features a slight progressive offset that gives you more forgiveness in the long irons while retaining shot control in the short irons.
